About: If you’re not familiar with The Beauty Counter they have a line of what they call safer and effective skincare and makeup. The company has great business practices, ingredient standards and have partnered with green celebrity makeup artist Chrissy Coleman to formulate and create their makeup products. The Beauty Counter focuses on personal one on one consultants and socials with independent sales consultants. They don’t sell in stores and only sell online and through their consultants. They do this because they like to get the clean beauty message out through individual sales consultants. Here are the products I have tried out so far:
Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer, this has a really light coverage and SPF 20, which is perfect for daytime use. It actually gives your skin a beautiful glow. Its infused with black currant, peony flower root extract, and vitamin C to reduce age spots. If you want glow and light coverage this would be perfect for you or if your skin is super oily this might not be a great product for you.

Color Pinch Cream Blusher, For the longest time I would shy away from cream blushes, but now I love them, they give the perfect glow to your skin and if applied right look beautiful. The Beauty Counter cream blushes are super pretty and the colors are really nice with just the right hint of color, you definitely want to use a light hand when applying cream blush. Its housed in a small container perfect to pop in your purse for touch ups and formulated with jojoba and carnauba wax to hydrate the skin. I really like the Hibiscus color.

Touch up Skin Concealer Pen, this is a light coverage concealer pen which makes it perfect for mature skin and people looking for light coverage. This can also be used as a highlight under the eye or in the inner corner of the eye. Personally, for myself, I find this a little light for every day use, I have work and little kids that wear me out and I find myself needing a little more coverage, but I do like using it to brighten under the eye and for a non-shimmer highlighter.

Tint Skin, I really like this foundation and I will be buying a bunch of these for my on-set makeup kit. This really is such a beautiful foundation as it provides the perfect medium coverage. It’s hydrating and build-able and doesn’t feel heavy on. The line has a great range of colors so it should work great on most skin tones.

Counter Color Contour Matte Bronzer, I love this bronzer. Why? Because it has no shimmer and the color is perfect. Its hard to find a clean beauty bronzer with no shimmer and I’m so happy to have found this. Out of all the products this might just be one of my favorites.

Lip Sheer, these offer a light coverage that is hydrating, some colors do have a hint of gold shimmer to them. I really like the Twig and Petal colors!

Retractable Complexion Coverage Brush, you can use this to apply foundation. It also works well as a cream blush brush.

All Over Eye Brush, I love this brush and use it all the time on set. Its perfect for applying eye shadow especially in the creases of your eyes. It deposits the color evenly and just where you want it.
